WHEN SHOULD I BOOK MY SESSION?
We recommend 1-3 months before you are wanting your photos as a general rule of thumb, and turn-around time for your full, digital gallery is three weeks. Every Collection includes products we need to order, so we want to allow time for the design and ordering process. If you’ve found us with only a few weeks to when you want your finals images, still reach out! Occasionally we can accommodate last-minute sessions when we have cancellations.
WHERE WILL I BE PHOTOGRAPHED?
At my photo studio located in Old Town Wichita, KS. You will receive details upon booking!
HOW DOES THIS WHOLE PROCESS WORK?
Once your reach out, you will automatically receive EVERYTHING you need to move forward! A link to our calendar, full pricing information (no gatekeeping) and a contract. A signature and 30% retainer paid and signed within 24 hours puts you on the calendar! We will send you a Client Guide to help you prepare for your day as well as a short prep questionnaire. The day of, you arrive, will be met outside, get pampered, look in the client closet, etc. before your shoot. We will spend about an hour in the studio creating some gorgeous images and then you will head out for a shirt break while Katy edits your preview gallery (almost every image shot) and we choose your final images! Within 3 weeks, you will receive your completed digital gallery and Katy will be in touch to oder your forever keepsakes. Yay!
I CAN'T PAY THE FULL AMOUNT AT ONCE. DO YOU OFFER PAYMENT PLANS?
Totally! I offer flexible payment plans according to what my clients need. Shop Pay Installments is also available through Shopify. Just ask!
I WANT TO LOSE 10 POUNDS BEFORE BOOKING. SHOULD I WAIT?
While I understand and encourage making healthy choices leading up to your session so that you FEEL bomb, don't wait girl! You are PERFECT how you are and I will help you see that.
I AM SELF CONSCIOUS ABOUT MY __. WILL YOU HIDE THAT?
I always edit out anything small and non-permanent (acne, bruising, etc. and if you want me to pay special attention to skin edits, there's an add-on for that!). As far as posing, I go through the same set of poses with every client because I don't believe in "hiding" something on one girl but not the other. If you tell me in advance that you want to avoid certain poses or angles, I will try to be aware of that during the shoot as much as I can. We are photoshop free around here unless specially requested.
DO YOU OFFER DISCOUNTS?
Yes! I offer a discount code when you sign a model release as well as when you and a friend book a session on the same day. Win-win!
HOW DO YOUR PACKAGES WORK?
I have Collections to accommodate a wide range of budgets and they are super customizable!
Will my images be shared?
NEVER unless you give me permission to and I will never ever pressure you to. You have the option to sign an anonymous or full model release, or keep your images totally private.
WHAT DO I WEAR?
That all is covered in the Client Guide! You don't even have to buy lingerie for your shoot and we can shoot solely with the white sheet or your favorite outfit.
WHAT IS THE TURN-AROUND TIME?
You will get your completed gallery within 3 weeks of your session. If you want it earlier then fees will apply, but it's an option!
SHOULD I GET MY MAKEUP DONE?
YES PLEASE. My skilled artist will ask you if you have any preferences but for this type of session, the looks she does really add to the photos and the over-all vibe. PLUS it's the best time to sip your drink, relax and enjoy the day since this is about YOU. My artist even adds details you might not think about, like a little body glow to make skin look even more healthy and glowing.
